Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions:
Q.Why use "I'm Busy"?
A. "I'm Busy" allows you to establish "out of office" status
straight from your BlackBerry. If you don't want to be bothered,
and everyone KNOWS you have a BlackBerry, you can enable "I'm Busy"
and set your customizable message stating you are currently
unavailable. Additionally, "I'm Busy" is the only program that
autoreplies to incoming sms and pins. Now you can put your
BlackBerry down and not worry about checking it every 15 minutes
for messages. Let "I'm Busy" be your autorespond assistant.
Q. Can I just enable “I’m Busy” for SMS only on my
BlackBerry?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I just enable “I’m Busy” for emails only on my
BlackBerry?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I enable "I'm Busy" for PIN only on my
BlackBerry?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I enable "I'm Busy" for the multiple email accounts
on my BlackBerry?
A. Yes. And you can pick and chose which email accounts you want
"I'm Busy" to respond to.
Q. How will I know when my trial period is over with "I'm
Busy"?
A. The AutoResponder stops working. You will then need to go to
Handango.com
and search for I'mBusy in the BlackBerry section to purchase a
fully licensed version.
Q. What is the cost of a fully licensed version of "I'm
Busy"?
A. $12.95 US Dollars.
Q. What is "Cached Address Expiration" (CAE)?
A. When "I'm Busy" is enabled and the program autoresponds to an
incoming email, sms or pin, your message is sent to that person. If
that person sends another email, sms or pin within the time frame
you have picked from the drop down menu, no autoresponse will be
sent. For example, if I have my CAE set to 30 minutes and my
friends keep emailing me, "I'm Busy" will only autorespond once to
that specific friend within a 30 minute time period. This feature
allows you, the user, to control how often "I'm Busy" functions to
the same user. By setting the time period higher means less
autoreplies from your BlackBerry to that specific person.
Q. How do I enable "I'm Busy" on my
BlackBerry?
A. After downloading "I'm Busy" to your BlackBerry, find the "I'm
Busy" icon on your application section of your BlackBerry. Click
once on the icon. Place your cursor in the box to the left of
Enable AutoResponder. A check mark will now be shown within the
box. Next, scroll down and specify which one of the three responses
you want "I'm Busy" to send. Finally, scroll down to the bottom of
the page and press Save. "I'm Busy" is now enabled.
Q. How do I edit the text on the AutoResponder
options?
A. Take your cursor to the end of one of the preloaded responses
and backspace over the existing text. Then type in your custom
response. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and press Save.
Q. Do I have to pay any other fees for "I'm Busy" besides
the $12.95?
A. None from "I'm Busy". Your cell provider will charge you for any
SMS at your regular rate.
Q. Does my phone have to be on for "I'm Busy" to
work?
A. Yes. If "I'm Busy" is enabled when your phone is powered off,
"I'm Busy" will automatically be disabled. You will need to
re-enable it when you want to use "I'm Busy" again.
Q. Is "I'm Busy" compatible with CDMA devices like the
BlackBerry 8830
A. ImBusy is currently not compatible with CDMA devices like
BlackBerry 8830 (aka "World phone") due to network BlackBerry
limitations.
